Things that have Choked me up

Last night I arrived a little early to ballet. I usually get there in time to watch them finish up exercises or the end of dance. Last night the director had them go over their dance several times. I couldn't believe how much change I could see in Audrey. I had one of those "Oh my gosh! She's growing up." moments. I couldn't keep my eyes off her. I couldn't believe how graceful she looked and her timing was pretty much right on with the big girls. She still has issue with her feet turning funny angles. We are going to start really working on some exercises to help her. Much like the ones we did with James to help him straighten out his feet when he was born.

This morning I was watching James get water from the sink. He was standing tall on his tippy toes but able to reach the faucet. I had another "Oh my gosh! He's growing up." moment. I remember when I was worried he might have to wear braces or have surgery to try and fix his feet. We had an awesome therapist who taught me how to exercise his feet and we wrapped them every day. James did have to wear full leg cast but, even that didn't last as long as we thought it would. He really has no problems with them now.

Here is how they looked when he was only about 3 weeks old. Top picture he is lying on his back. Bottom he is on his belly. This is what happens to your feet when you sit on your brother's head for too many months!

Watching my kids this past few days has choked me up. I have realized how blessed We are.
Remember to Thank God for all you have and to continue to Bless you with what you need.
The hardest prayer, for me, is Thy Will be Done, not mine.
Turn it over to him. He'll amaze you.
xoxo
Amy

Isn't that funny how God works like that - it's like a light bulb comes on and you see your children in a whole new light. And yes, we all have to keep work on the TRUSTING HIM part...but why am I not so good at that?.... :)

Hugs!
