1-Yeah Me! I have 5 of 10 communication folders done for preschool. These folders have a sign in a sign out column and the picture and name of each kid in each class. It's a great idea because sometimes another teacher or floater :) will end up needing to be with a class and not always know all the kids.
2-Yeah Me! I finally get around to participating in Musing Mom Therese's Thursday recipe swap. Mostly because she was offering gifts! AND!! I won the towel set.
Some other stuff. This weekend I got through all the boys warm weather and cold weather clothing. That was a nightmare. Trying to get them to try some things on because I just didn't know if they would still fit. Then it doesn't and they are all disappointed or it does and they don't want to take it off. augh!
Audrey stayed home today with what appears/appeared to be the beginning of a bladder infection. She has been drinking alot of water and cranberry juice today and doing alot better.
JAMES! Well this little fellow has been having a rough couple of weeks. Pushing, spanking another kid on the playground (?) Still don't understand all of that one. Pushing has come in lining up, getting another kid off his folder etc... So last week after the 3rd call from his teacher I told him and her that he should go to the office and they call Mommy if he has anymore trouble. We then had a 3 day weekend. I talked to him off and on all weekend. Lots of encouraging, loving, this morning. Phone on my hip all day just waiting for it to ring. Praying that it wouldn't. YEAH we made it. I see his teacher outside when I go to pick them up. "So how'd he do?" "Well he did great all day. Thought we were going to make it. He pulled stripe at 2:15 (school is out at 2:45) for gluing a girls hair to her chair." Now you tell me. Would you kind of make that milk up your nose laugh? I just did. You just never know what is going to be said. I try to be prepared but, well, ya' know sometimes the probably not so proper response comes out. She kind of laughed too. Said that he admitted to doing it and she didn't have time to research it farther. So later at dinner we are discussing our day. Joseph is giving us a meteorologist cloud lesson. William is happy he took two AR test today and Mom is finally off his back for a bit. Then it's James turn. Now it is very important to be in synch with your mate and know what their reaction will be. So this way you know DON"T LOOK AT HIM when James tells him about the hair glued to the chair.
"So James how'd your day go. Did you have to pull a strip?"
"Why?" He looks at me...... "This is good." Then quick look away.
"I glued Mady's hair to her chair."
Yep, I'm not the only one with the milk up the nose snort reaction. DON"T LOOK AT HIM.
Tom recovers and ask. "Why?"
"She was blowing at me. Like this." He proceeds to throw his head back and blow up in the air.
He says he tried the "Please stop." response we gave him to say but it didn't work. The part where you go to an adult alluded him.
Friday he wants to go to the Friday Bash party for First Graders so I have leverage for the next 3 days. Our Music Teacher and PE Coach are two very awesome guys. Last week they kept 2nd graders from 2:45-6:00. William had a blast. They ate pizza, played games, Wii, danced, all kinds of stuff. We love Coach McGee and Mr. O.
So that's what you've got from us.
Tomorrow night is the first class for the Sacrament Prep kids and their parents. We will get all our info and book tomorrow. I'm really kind of looking forward to this. Wish us luck.
