New Years resolution. Biggest one is turn 40 in style. Finish the living room walls before our anniversary on the 20th of January. Get back to my weekly menu planning. Especially with 3 boys in basketball, Audrey's ballet, church activities,...... I need to get us somewhat organized.
When do you take down Christmas? I will start this next weekend. My first job is to get all my boxes out and go through them, thoroughly. I have stuff I just don't put out anymore, am tired of or just don't like. They don't have any special meaning and need to be given to someone else to enjoy.
Well better get started on thie daily list of things to do.

We'll take our tree down tomorrow-I am ready for it this year! Happy new Year!!!
we pulled the Christmas tree down yesterday. I have a new baby swing in the lounge room and the room was feeling cluttered so I asked Brigette to pull down the tree. Usually I wait till the octave of Christmas is over.
Happy New year to you and your family Amy.
I started to gather items from around the house and they are neatly piled on the end of our table. I'll begin to dismantle the tree as soon as we can get the boxes out from under the stairs . . . which can happen as soon as the folks who asked us to keep their luggage come and get their luggage. Speaking of that, they called tonight and are back on O'ahu and ready to get it. Maybe tonight or tomorrow they'll coem fetch their stuff and . . . I can get busy.
I usually pull it down the day after the Epiphany, but this year I want to out earlier. It does not mean it's not still Christmas when the tree goes bye-bye.
Happy New Year!
Btw, I can spell and write correctly most of the time. ;)
