The Abraham Lincoln Brothers
Wish you a

Happy President’s Day
For one of this year’s book reports the boys had to read a biography.  Then the kids dressed as their person and presented a living museum.  Joseph(left) and James both wanted to be Abraham Lincoln.  James has had a love of presidents, the white house and especially Lincoln for a long time.  Thanks to Grandma and Grandpa the boys had perfect beards.  They are beard nets that are used in restaurant kitchens.  Grandpa spray painted them black and voila.

We are out of school today and enjoying some relaxing time this morning them off to tackle weeds in the backyard.  I hope the wonderful rain we’ve received is helping the trees and grass as much as the weeds seem to be thriving.

Enjoy your day.

Big Hugs and Many Blessings

PS:  Mozart stopped by to wish you all a wonderful day too.

We had fun making this costume.  Hanging out at the costume table at SABA productions has taught me that if you have a glue gun and safety pins there are no limits to your creations.  And yes you can hot glue a wig together while on a kids head.  How else was I going to get the curl rolls on the side even?
